General Note
Kane, Wyoming, located 11 miles east of Lovell, Wyoming, was founded in 1906. It disappeared after the construction of Yellowtail Dam on the north end of Big Horn Canyon in 1965.

Author writes about his own childhood which included living in the now defunct town of Kane, Wyoming and stories about other people in the area.
