Summary
Henry McBride is a struggling cowboy with a painful past that he can't drink away. Living on his last dollar and with nowhere to go, he reluctantly takes a last-resort ranch job and is tasked with breaking in a troubled mustang. McBride struggles to tame the beast whose past and temperament seem to mirror his own. He must break through anguish, torment, and years endured in the darkest of places, so that the mustang can once again find his spirit. What transpires is a story of redemption, moving McBride beyond even his deepest wounds to discover a life he never thought possible.
