Summary
Trent and his father lived very different lives thousands of miles apart and had been estranged for years, until his father received a serious cancer diagnosis. After his father's death, Trent was befuddled by his inheritance of a family heirloom: a toolbox. Trent had never worked with his hands. But maybe that was the point. And with that came an epiphany: he would build a wooden canoe, and he would complete it by the anniversary of his father's death.
