Power of attorney: When she learns her father has Alzheimer's, Leah Randall leaves the law firm of Garrison, Danforth, and Shook in Chicago to return to Bassville, Arkansas. Everyone in Bassville thought Amber Lynn Travis was dead; when she returns someone is chasing her, but she doesn't know who. When Amber asks Leah to help her settle an estate, Leah is caught up in a case of abuse and sexual slavery.
